Vehicle description
New year, time to let some stuff go. Have a 1959 Dodge Coronet project that I picked up about 10 years ago. It had no engine or tranny when I bought it. It's pretty much complete, only one side trim piece was missing, and the front windsheild was broken. This is the mean looking front end one, just looks like it's angry which is why I liked it. That and it was one of the last Exner big fin cars. The floors were rotten when I got it, so I pulled the body off and put some heavy steel floors in it. Rockers and quarters are pretty solid, but will need some work. I put a Crown vic front end in it, and an 8.8 Explorer rear in it. The front end geometry isn't right and will need some more work to get the camber and caster good. I have upholstered seats in black and white that are in my shed that I had redone many years back. Have a black carpet kit included. Has a new oem fuel tank that's never had fuel in it, new lines. Have newish brake lines, flex lines, and whole bunch of other parts for it in the trunk. All the body parts are there, one front fender had some bonds, but I have a donor panel. Had some of the chrome twilight bezels redone, think there's even new lenses. Have crab Ben hur style new hubcaps for it, always liked that look. This has been sitting under my carport for the last 5 years and I've outgrown my car restoring days. Would like to see it go to someone who can get it back on the road again. The parts alone are worth the asking price. I even have a factory brochure and cool "FWDLOOK" plates you can have. Clear title.
